On September 15, 2016 in Quebec, Canada, Russia took up the baton to organize the XXIX International Mineral Processing Congress IMPC 2018 which will be held in Moscow. The previous Congress took place on September 11-15, 2016 in Quebec and brought together more than 1000 professionals in the field of mineral processing out of the 56 countries. The Russian delegation was represented by 40 scientists from the leading institutes and universities of Russia and members of the business community and headed by Mr. Valentin Chanturia, the honorary Professor of the Russian Academy of Science, and Mr Alexander Darchiev, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Canada.
