The Centre for Minerals Research at the University of Cape Town is a world leading research centre. We are dedicated to finding solutions to the processes of comminution, classification, froth flotation and process mineralogy. Our purpose is to develop models, methodologies and heuristics for the design, simulation and optimisation of mineral processing concentrators. Our research approach is inter-disciplinary including expertise from multiple engineering and scientific disciplines.
